This Privacy Policy explains how Finance Circuit handles personal data when you visit the website or contact the publication. Finance Circuit is operated by Mahesh Sirvi from Pune, Maharashtra, India.
1. Data we handle
Website delivery and security data
When a browser requests a page, hosting and network systems may process the IP address, device and browser details, requested address, referring address, date and time, response status and security events. This information is used to deliver, cache, protect and diagnose the website.
Email correspondence
If you email Finance Circuit, we receive the address you use, your message, attachments and any other information you choose to provide. Please do not send confidential, financial-account, identity-document or special-category information unless it is necessary and requested through an appropriate channel.
Services enquiries
If you use the services enquiry form, we receive your name, work email, company, optional company website and timing, the area where you want help, the project context you provide, the submission source, and the time and version of the privacy notice you acknowledged. The record is stored privately in WordPress so an email delivery problem cannot silently lose the enquiry. A short-lived security control processes a salted hash derived from the requesting IP address to limit automated abuse; the enquiry record does not store the raw IP address or browser details.
Newsletter subscriptions
If you use a Finance Circuit newsletter form, we receive the email address you enter, the date and time of consent, the version of the consent notice, the page or placement where you joined, and the reader-list status. New addresses remain pending until newsletter delivery, confirmation and unsubscribe handling are operational. Short-lived security controls may process a salted hash derived from the requesting IP address to limit automated abuse; the subscriber record does not store the raw IP address.
Optional audience measurement
Google Analytics is off by default. If you choose Use analytics, the Google tag loads and may process the pages and interactions viewed, referring source, browser and device information, approximate location derived from the IP address, and pseudonymous browser identifiers. Finance Circuit does not intentionally send names, email addresses, form contents, financial-account information or other directly identifying content to Google Analytics. Analytics is also disabled for signed-in administrators and on local, test or other non-production hosts.
Functions not offered
Finance Circuit does not offer public user accounts, comments or a general editorial contact form. The services enquiry and newsletter forms are the only public data-entry forms. The website does not use advertising technology, and it does not process affiliate-link, checkout or payment data.
2. How and why we use data
We use the limited information described above to:
- deliver, cache, maintain and secure the website;
- respond to enquiries, correction requests and service discussions;
- manage reader-list requests and, once newsletter delivery begins, confirmation, delivery preferences and unsubscribes;
- understand aggregate readership and site use when a visitor has chosen optional analytics;
- investigate abuse, faults or security incidents;
- keep records needed to manage editorial, contractual or legal matters; and
- comply with applicable law and enforce the website terms.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, this processing is based on providing a requested service, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the publication, consent, or a legal obligation.
3. Service providers and transfers
The website is hosted by Hostinger and runs on WordPress with LiteSpeed technology. Those systems may process technical logs, cache data and security information needed to operate the site. Services enquiry and newsletter subscriber records are stored in the site’s WordPress database and hosting backups and are not exposed through the public WordPress API. A services enquiry also sends a secondary email notification through the provider serving the operator’s working contact address. Cloudflare provides DNS; if its proxy is enabled for website traffic, it may also process network, device and security data. If you choose optional analytics, Google LLC provides Google Analytics and processes the audience-measurement information described above.
Providers process information under their own infrastructure, security practices and contractual terms. Data may be processed outside your state or country. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or in connection with a lawful business reorganisation.
Finance Circuit does not sell personal data.
4. Cookies and similar technology
Optional analytics is denied by default, and no Google Analytics script is requested until you choose Use analytics. If you opt in, Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain denied. Your choice is stored locally in the browser so it can be respected on later visits.
Choose Essential only to keep optional analytics off. You can reopen Analytics choices beside the Privacy link in the footer to change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawing removes Finance Circuit’s Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page without the Google tag. A browser Global Privacy Control signal overrides a prior opt-in and keeps optional analytics off.
Essential cookies or comparable technical signals may still be used by the host, caching layer or security provider to deliver pages, prevent abuse and support administrator sessions. You can also use browser controls to inspect, block or remove cookies. Blocking an essential security or delivery mechanism may affect site operation.
5. Retention and security
A services enquiry record stored through the website is automatically deleted 365 days after submission. Related email correspondence or contractual records may be kept longer when reasonably needed for the discussion, an engagement, a legal obligation or a legal claim. A reader-list address is kept until the person asks for deletion, unsubscribes after delivery begins, or the list is retired. Google Analytics event and user-level data is configured for a 14-month retention period; aggregated reporting may be retained for longer under Google’s reporting controls. Technical logs are retained according to operational, security and provider settings. Information may be deleted, anonymised or retained for longer when the law requires it or a legal claim makes it necessary.
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no website, email system or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where consent applies, or raise a privacy complaint. You can withdraw optional analytics consent at any time through Analytics choices in the footer. We may need enough information to verify another request and locate the relevant records. Some information may be retained where the law permits or requires it.
7. Contact and changes
